Welcome! This site is dedicated to some of my creative work primarily in the areas of drawing, book arts, and printmaking.

I am a native of New Hampshire who grew up playing in the woods finding awe and inspiration in the natural world. Curiosity sustains my creative practice. The books I have read have had as much impact on my work as the art I have seen. I studied drawing and printmaking both as an undergraduate and graduate student, receiving my BFA from University of New Hampshire and my MFA from Syracuse University. I am now teaching art at Central College in Pella, IA where I live with two of my favorite artists and musicians, my wife Anne and daughter Madeline.

The categories on the left will help organize the imagery shown in these posts.  I work slowly so I do not post frequently, but from time to time something new will appear. Please feel free to comment on any of the images as I am always interested in feedback.
